Its batteries offer 50, 58 or 79 kWh of usable capacity (52, 61 and 84 kWh gross), the two smaller ones with LFP cells, and power ranges from 125 kW to 240 kW, always driving the rear wheels. The car is on sale in the UK with WLTP figures of up to 401 miles, and the charging flap is on the right at the rear.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eWhich charging cable should I buy for an Audi A2 e-tron?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFor a single-phase British home, pair the A2 e-tron with the \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/type-2\"\u003e22 kW Voldt® Type 2 charging cable\u003c\/a\u003e, whose 32 A rating lets the car's charger draw 32 A from one phase. On a 7 kW wall box that means 7.4 kW and roughly 8 hours for the 50 kWh battery or about 12 and a half hours for the 79 kWh one, whereas a 16 A cable such as an 11 kW one would hold the charge to 3.7 kW. At a three-phase public post the car takes its full 11 kW through either cable, which works out at around 5 and a half hours for the smallest battery and 8 and a half hours for the largest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBacking onto the drive brings the flap at the right rear close to the wall, and a six-metre cable has length to spare for the wall box. Nose first, the flap sits at the other end of the 4.32-metre car and the cable has to follow its right-hand side, which calls for eight metres. If a second car stands between the A2 e-tron and the wall, a ten-metre cable is right for reversing in and a 15-metre cable for driving in forwards.
