The car is a compact electric SUV built by Ampere in Douai, France, alongside its sister model the Renault Scenic E-Tech, about 4.49 metres long and driven through the front wheels at 160 kW. From November 2026 the batteries are 67 kWh LFP and 89 kWh NMC, the larger replacing the earlier 87 kWh, with WLTP ranges of up to about 290 and 400 miles. An 11 kW onboard charger is standard and a 22 kW one is optional on both batteries, so the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross EV charging cable to buy has to suit both. In a British home, where the supply is single-phase, both chargers draw 7.4 kW on a single 32 A phase when fed by a 7 kW wall box: the 67 kWh battery fills in about 10 and a half hours, and a 12-hour night adds about 75 kWh to the 89 kWh battery. An 11 kW cable carries only 16 A, so the car would charge at 3.7 kW. At three-phase public chargers a car with the 22 kW charger uses it in full, charging the larger battery in just under 5 hours, and the standard charger takes 11 kW.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePull in nose first and the right front flap ends up near the wall, where six metres of cable suit a wall box on that side. If you reverse onto the drive, the flap ends up at the other end of the car, over four metres away, which calls for eight metres. With a second car in front of the wall, take ten metres for nose-first parking and 15 metres for reversing in.
