Tesla wallbox works with one Tesla but not another

A Tesla wallbox, seemingly working as it should, is perfect for one car, but not for another. This means that the same wallbox might properly charge one person's car, but not yours. In this case, a sense of surprise prevails: perhaps you're in line waiting for your turn to charge at a charging station occupied by another car very similar to yours. The user has completed charging and is leaving, but now it's your turn, and the wallbox isn't charging your Tesla. Why? How is this possible? There's no single, definitive answer. You have to proceed by intuition and trial and error. For the same brand (Testa vs. Tesla), the answer could be contained in the charging settings: it could be that your settings are different from those of the other vehicle that has been charging properly. A second idea could involve a different software version: in this case, having performed (or not having performed) an update will be sufficient to better understand the problem.
