How safe is the Voldt® CCS2 Plugs during operation?

The Voldt® CCS2 Plugs is built with multiple safety measures, starting with real-time temperature monitoring at the DC contacts. This system reduces the risk of overheating by continuously checking thermal conditions during charging. Additionally, ultrasonic terminal welding reduces resistance close to zero, minimizing hotspots and ensuring consistent current flow.

The casing is constructed from thermoplastic materials with a UL94-V0 flame-retardant rating, adding protection against fire hazards. Combined with copper alloy silver-plated terminals, the plug ensures reliable electrical performance while resisting wear. The IP67 rating protects against dust and water ingress, essential for safe outdoor use in all weather conditions.

Voldt® emphasizes long-term reliability: the CCS2 Plugs is rated for over 10,000 mating cycles and withstanding voltage up to 3500V. These characteristics confirm its robustness under repeated, high-power use. The product has been certified by TÜV, CE, CB, and UKCA, ensuring compliance with European and international safety benchmarks.
