The Voldt® high-voltage cable series FHLR2GCB2G in the 2 × 6 mm² size, with an outer diameter of approximately 12.8 mm, is designed for reliable and efficient energy transmission in hybrid and electric vehicles. The fine-stranded copper conductor, built according to ISO 6722-1 and ISO 19642-5, offers stable current capacity with controlled voltage drop. High-performance silicone rubber provides insulation up to 180 °C and is resistant to heat, ozone and automotive fluids. A tinned-copper braid combined with aluminium PET foil creates a full 360° electromagnetic shield that supports the stable operation of high-voltage systems such as batteries, inverters and e-axles.
Each layer of the cable is engineered for demanding automotive environments. The smooth, talc-free silicone sheath ensures easy routing and sealing while maintaining flexibility down to –40 °C. The halogen-free composition complies with IEC 60754-1 and the 2 × 6 mm² version is suited for auxiliary high-voltage circuits, DC-link wiring or medium-power applications. A conductor resistance of around 3.2 mΩ/m, combined with compact dimensions, supports efficient power transfer in constrained installation spaces.
Every Voldt® high-voltage cable meets ISO 19642-9, EN 13602 and CE/UKCA requirements. Each batch is tested for insulation integrity, dielectric strength and mechanical endurance under vibration and bending. With recyclable silicone materials and precision extrusion, Voldt® delivers sustainable, high-performance cables built for the next generation of electric mobility.
