BMW only has charging problems at certain public charging stations
An electric vehicle driver always wants the certainty of having enough range to tackle a trip. But they also want to be sure that when the vehicle needs more power, they can stop at a charging station with the guarantee that the car will be fully charged. Apparently, BMW vehicles don't always offer this certainty. Sometimes the car won't charge at certain public charging stations, leaving the driver without power. In short, there's no problem at some wallbox locations, but problems at others. There's no certain explanation, but it's certain that something isn't working properly. Before looking for the cause of the problem in the car, it's fair to assume the charging station might be the problem. In this case, it's advisable to keep track of the locations where charging occurs regularly and those where the BMW isn't charging. One reason could be the current: AC or DC charging is possible, but the car doesn't always have the correct settings to accept both. If the car's charging system software is up to date, the problem is with the charging station.
