Drivers can begin charging on The Voldt® Sitecharge via plug-and-charge, App control, optional RFID cards, or reservation charging. The immediate answer is that all four access methods are supported, so sites can choose simple walk-up use or authenticated sessions.
For operators, The Voldt® Sitecharge offers OCPP with 4G/Ethernet. This enables connection to a compliant back-office for authorisation, tariffs, session records, and remote oversight. Connectivity is optional by design, so basic deployments can remain local and straightforward.
Where a local display isn’t required, the screen on The Voldt® Sitecharge is removable. This supports clean, vandal-resistant installations or tightly controlled environments. Day-to-day, the system is built to run quietly (below 30 dB) and within the stated temperature and humidity ranges.
Power sharing is handled by CT-based load balancing with single/three-phase metering. In practice, this smooths demand curves, helps avoid tripped protection upstream, and improves utilisation—especially when multiple vehicles are connected on busy sites.
