Opel Corsa-e charging cable

11kW
The Opel Mokka-e has a charging capacity of 11kW. So we recommend using a charging cable of atleast 11kW for optimal charging speeds.

22kW cable compatible
However, please be aware that a 22kW cable is perfectly capable of charging at 11kW. With a 22kW cable you'll have guaranteed optimal charging speeds in the event of a new car or a possible upgrade in charging capacity.

Collection: Opel Corsa-e charging cable

The Opel Corsa-e is a compact electric hatchback with a 50 kWh battery, sharing its platform and powertrain with the Peugeot e-208. Depending on specification, the Corsa-e is available with either a 7.4 kW single-phase or an 11 kW three-phase onboard charger. At 11 kW on a three-phase supply, the Corsa-e adds around 75 km of range per hour and charges fully in under five hours. The CCS Type 2 inlet sits on the rear left flank, where the fuel filler would be on a conventional Corsa.

Which charging cable fits the Opel Corsa-e

An 11 kW Voldt® Type 2 charging cable covers both onboard charger configurations without compromise. On the 7.4 kW variant it delivers the car's full single-phase rate at any wallbox or public post. On the 11 kW variant it unlocks the full three-phase rate. A 22 kW cable works equally well and is worth considering if you plan to use it with a higher-capacity vehicle in the future.

The rear-left port mirrors the position of a conventional fuel filler, so reversing into a bay puts the port closest to the post. For most home setups a 6-metre cable covers the driveway comfortably. An 8-metre cable is the everyday standard for mixed home and public use. Step up to 10 metres for posts set further back, or 15 metres for hotel car parks and longer driveway runs.

Portable charging for travel and outdoor use

The Voldt® portable CEE charging cable delivers up to 11 kW via three-phase CEE, matched to the top onboard charger rate. Most CEE sockets on campsites and marinas run at 16A three-phase, delivering exactly 11 kW. At that rate the 50 kWh battery charges fully in under five hours. The Schuko portable charger delivers up to 3.7 kW where only a standard socket is available.
