Collection: Ford Mustang Mach-E charging cable

The Ford Mustang Mach-E combines SUV practicality with long-distance electric performance. The Standard Range uses a 75.7 kWh battery and the Extended Range steps up to around 88 kWh usable. Both variants are equipped with the same 11 kW three-phase onboard charger as standard. Connected to a three-phase wallbox or public charge point, the Mach-E adds approximately 30 miles of driving range per hour. At 11 kW, the Standard Range charges fully in around seven hours and the Extended Range in around nine. The CCS Type 2 charging port sits on the front left flank, above the wheel arch.

Selecting the right charging cable for the Mustang Mach-E

An 11 kW Voldt® Type 2 charging cable covers both Mach-E variants at their full AC charge rate. A 22 kW cable works equally well at 11 kW and is worth considering if you plan to use it with a higher-capacity vehicle in the future, or simply want the most versatile option available.

The front-left port suits nose-in parking well, keeping the post close to the car on most standard bays. For most home driveways a 6-metre cable is comfortable. An 8-metre cable is the versatile everyday option for mixed home and public charging. A 10-metre cable adds convenience at public charging stations where the post is set further back. A 15-metre cable provides maximum flexibility for hotel parking areas, longer driveways and any awkward bay layout.

Portable charging options for everyday travel

The Voldt® portable CEE charging cable is available up to 22 kW via three-phase CEE. For the Mach-E, the onboard charger accepts up to 11 kW on both variants, so output is matched automatically at any 16A or 32A three-phase socket. Most CEE sockets on campsites and marinas run at 16A three-phase, delivering exactly 11 kW. At that rate the Standard Range charges fully in around seven hours and the Extended Range in around nine, both well within an overnight window at any site with a three-phase socket. The Schuko portable charger delivers up to 3.7 kW where only a standard socket is available.
