Collection: Hyundai Ioniq 6 charging cable

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a highly aerodynamic electric saloon built on Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP platform, combining long-distance efficiency with rapid DC charging capability. On MY2023–2025 models, the Standard Range uses a 53 kWh battery and the Long Range uses 77.4 kWh across both RWD and AWD variants. The MY2026 facelift updates both: Standard Range grows to 63 kWh and Long Range to 84 kWh. All variants across all model years share the same 11 kW three-phase onboard charger. Connected to a three-phase wallbox or public AC post, the Ioniq 6 gains approximately 30 miles of range per hour. The CCS Type 2 inlet sits on the right region flank across the entire range.

The right charging cable for the Hyundai Ioniq 6

An 11 kW Voldt® Type 2 charging cable covers every Ioniq 6 variant across all model years. A 22 kW cable works equally well at 11 kW and is worth considering if you plan to use it with a higher-capacity vehicle in the future, or simply want the most versatile option available.

The right-rear port mirrors the position of a conventional fuel filler, so reversing into a bay puts the port closest to the post. For most home driveways a 6-metre cable is comfortable. An 8-metre cable is the practical everyday standard for drivers charging in different locations. A 10-metre cable provides additional flexibility when public charge points are positioned further away or parking layouts are less convenient. A 15-metre cable handles hotel parking areas, larger spaces and extended driveways without restriction.

Flexible charging away from home

The Voldt® portable CEE charging cable is available up to 22 kW via three-phase CEE. For the Ioniq 6, the onboard charger accepts up to 11 kW, so output is matched automatically at any 16A or 32A three-phase socket. Most CEE sockets on campsites and marinas run at 16A three-phase, delivering exactly 11 kW. At that rate the MY2023–2025 Standard Range charges fully in around five hours, the 77.4 kWh Long Range in around seven hours, and the MY2026 84 kWh Long Range in around eight hours, all well within an overnight window. The Schuko portable charger delivers up to 3.7 kW from a standard household socket wherever industrial power is unavailable.
