The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance is a high-performance plug-in hybrid available as a Saloon and an Estate. Battery and electric range

Charging at home and at public wallboxes

Connecting to a higher-rated supply, whether 7.4 kW, 11 kW, or 22 kW, makes no difference to charging speed: the onboard charger draws only what it accepts, capped at 3.7 kW. In practice, most C 63 S E Performance owners top up during longer stops rather than planning dedicated charging sessions, as the battery replenishes substantially through recuperation during spirited driving.
