Collection: Renault Scenic Charging cable

The Renault Scenic E-Tech is a family-focused electric crossover available in two battery configurations: a 60 kWh Standard Range and an 87 kWh Long Range. AC charging capability varies by trim and model year. On most Standard Range variants and on Long Range models from MY2023–2024, a 22 kW three-phase onboard charger is fitted as standard. MY2025 Long Range models reverted to 11 kW. At 22 kW, the 87 kWh battery charges fully in under five hours, or around three hours for the 60 kWh. At a single-phase 7.4 kW home wallbox, expect around nine hours for the Standard Range and around thirteen to fourteen hours for the Long Range. The Type 2 charge port sits on the right front flank. If you are unsure which charger your car has, the My Renault app or your original order confirmation will confirm it.

The right charging cable for the Scenic E-Tech

A 22 kW Voldt® Type 2 charging cable is the right match for every Scenic E-Tech variant. For 22 kW models, it unlocks the full AC charge rate at any three-phase public post or wallbox. For 11 kW models, it charges at the car's maximum rate and covers all scenarios without compromise. An 11 kW three-phase cable is a poor choice on either variant: on a single-phase home wallbox it restricts the session to a single 16A conductor, cutting the charge rate to 3.7 kW. With the 87 kWh Long Range battery, that turns a thirteen-hour overnight charge into a twenty-six-hour one.

The right-front port suits nose-in parking well, keeping it closest to the post on most standard bays. A 6-metre cable is comfortable for most home driveways. An 8-metre cable is the practical standard for mixed home and public use. A 10-metre cable covers awkward bay layouts at public stations where post positioning is less predictable. A 15-metre cable provides maximum flexibility for hotel car parks and longer driveways.

Portable charging during travel

The Voldt® portable CEE charging cable delivers output up to 22 kW, matched to the Scenic's maximum onboard charger rate. At a red three-phase 32A CEE socket, 22 kW models get the full rate and a complete charge of the 87 kWh battery in under five hours. At a red three-phase 16A socket, output is 11 kW. The blue single-phase 16A CEE sockets typical of campsites and caravan hookups deliver 3.7 kW: enough for a partial overnight top-up of the 60 kWh battery, but well short of a full charge on the 87 kWh Long Range.

Portable charging via domestic sockets

Where only a standard domestic wall socket is available, the Voldt® Schuko portable charger draws 2.3 kW (10A safe limit). With the 87 kWh battery, a full charge at this rate takes close to 46 hours, making it strictly a multi-day emergency fallback rather than a standard overnight solution.
