The BMW M5 G90 is the first plug-in hybrid M5, pairing the 4.4-litre twin-turbo S68 V8 with a 145 kW electric motor for a combined 535 kW and 1,000 Nm through M xDrive all-wheel drive. Which cable suits the BMW M5

The left front port position pairs naturally with forward pull-in bays, placing the socket beside the post in most public layouts. At home, a six-metre cable covers the typical driveway installation without slack to manage. If your wallbox sits on the opposite side, or you charge regularly at public posts set further back, an eight-metre cable is the more flexible default for a car of the M5's length.
