Skoda Enyaq IV charging cable

Skoda Enyaq IV charging cable

11kW
The Skoda Enyaq IV has a charging capacity of 11kW. So we recommend using a charging cable of atleast 11kW for optimal charging speeds.

22kW cable compatible
However, please be aware that a 22kW cable is perfectly capable of charging at 11kW. With a 22kW cable you'll have guaranteed optimal charging speeds in the event of a new car or a possible upgrade in charging capacity.

Collection: Skoda Enyaq IV charging cable

The Škoda Enyaq is refreshingly consistent. Every model has an 11 kW three-phase onboard charger, the charge port is on the right rear flank, and the cable is a Voldt® Type 2 11 kW charging cable. That applies to the 60, 85, 85x and vRS. No trim variations, no optional charger upgrades, no exceptions. A 22 kW cable does nothing here: the car caps at 11 kW regardless.

At a three-phase charge point or wallbox, 11 kW gives around 50 km of range per hour. The 77 kWh battery on the 85 variants takes roughly eight hours to charge overnight. The smaller battery on earlier 60 models takes around six.

On cable length: the right-rear port is straightforward for nose-in parking but less so when reversing. The Enyaq is a long car. A 4-metre cable suits only the closest home wallbox position. A 10-metre cable is the better default for this vehicle. A 15-metre cable is worth having for an awkward driveway or a public charge point not directly adjacent to the bay.

Portable charging for a car that goes the distance

The Enyaq covers real mileage, which means charging opportunities away from a fixed wallbox matter. The Voldt® portable CEE charging cable delivers up to 22 kW via CEE, with output matched to the car's 11 kW onboard charger. At a three-phase CEE socket on a campsite, marina or workshop, the Enyaq charges at its full 11 kW, adding around 50 km of range per hour. The Schuko portable charger delivers up to 3.7 kW for locations where only a standard socket is available. The cable lives in the boot either way.
